I love technology. But, never even in the sickest thoughts I could ever muster could I ever think of the idea this idiot thought up. He’s a convicted child molester. He goes out to a public web site with the names of registered sex offenders (you know, the ones designed to inform and protect the law-abiding citizens). When he finds an offender he thinks is “cute,” he contacts him for a date. He was also attracted to them if they were convicted of the same crime as he was.
So, what was this guy going to do with his “dates”? Compare notes? Combine their skills for a little cooperative molesting? And if Mr. Curious was a convicted child molester, what the hell is he doing coming on to other adult child molestors? At least one of the other sex offendes had the good sense to call the cops. Try to imagine what that conversation was like:
Registered Sex Offender: Hello, police?
Cop: Yes?
R. S. O.: I just got a call from a guy who wants to take me out on a date.
Cop: Who was the guy? Did he tell you his name?
R. S. O.: Yeah. He also told me he just got out of the joint.
Cop: Really? For what?
R. S. O.: He’s a convicted child molester.
Cop: Jesus! Why did he call you?
R. S. O.: He got my name from the registered sex offender web site.
Cop: Eeeewwww! We’ll be right over.
Perhaps he can do everyone a favor and follow the lead of this guy. But, let’s not wait until the next soccer game.
